Darrell Newell brings over a decade of hands-on experience serving Noble County District 3, including six years as a road foreman. He’s worked these roads, led crews, and understands firsthand what it takes to keep the county moving.
Over the years, Darrell has built a strong foundation of communication - not just within his crew, but within the community. When issues arise, people don’t wonder who to call, they call Darrell. He’s made it a priority to listen, respond, and follow through, earning the trust of the people he serves.
His approach is straightforward: communicate clearly, create a plan, prioritize the right work, and follow through. That means residents know what’s happening, when it’s happening, and that their concerns actually matter.
Darrell is focused on bringing structure, consistency, and accountability to road maintenance.
With a clear plan and organized scheduling, he will ensure equipment is used efficiently and roads are maintained regularly ...so people see progress, not just promises.
Darrell is committed to making the most of available resources by actively pursuing funding opportunities, ensuring Noble County doesn’t leave money on the table and every dollar is used with purpose. He believes in approaching projects with discipline, making sure the core responsibilities of road maintenance are running smoothly before taking on additional work. By prioritizing properly and planning ahead, Darrell will ensure that new projects are completed efficiently - without disrupting the consistency people rely on.
Above all, Darrell prioritizes safety, for both the crew doing the work and the community relying on it. His goal is to build on the trust he’s already earned and continue delivering reliable, consistent service for the people of Noble County.
